The dental team educates patients about gum disease and how to maintain healthy gums between visits. Services include regular cleaning and polishing to remove tartar and plaque, along with Airflow cleaning—a gentle method that uses a jet of air, water, and powder to brighten teeth by removing surface stains.
When needed, gum disease is treated, and patients are placed on a personalised maintenance program to help control the condition and prevent progression. Supportive, non-judgmental smoking cessation advice is also available due to the strong link between smoking and gum disease.
For more complex or advanced cases, referrals to a gum specialist (Periodontist) are provided.
