Vikesh qualified as a dentist from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2008. Following a year in general dental practice, he spent a year working in Australia. On his return he worked as Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgey and Orthodontics at various hospitals in Norfolk. He then went on to work as a Senior House Officer in various departments at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this period he attained membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in Edinburgh. He continued his postgraduate education at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in London, where he gained a MSc with distinction in Root Canal Treatment. Vikesh joins our team to help with the treatment of the more complex root canal cases, meaning that we don’t need to refer patients out of the practice to see a specialist as they can receive that care here.
Vikesh spends part of the rest of his working week teaching other dentists and dental students at Birmingham Dental Hospital and works at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London.
Like his brother he has always been a keen player of Badminton, having represented England at junior level. Vikesh also plays cricket, with him having represented and captained Leicestershire at various age groups at junior level.
