Ritesh qualified as a dentist in 2006 from Manchester University, UK, and has continued to develop his skills and knowledge ever since. Following an initial year in dental practice, he went on to work as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and in Restorative Dentistry at various hospitals in the North West of England, treating patients on a referral basis and teaching dental students. During this period he also became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in Edinburgh. Following on from this he pursued his interest in Restorative Dentistry and completed certified courses in Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry under the tutelge of Michael Wise and Christopher Orr. Since then he has developed a passion for implant dentistry and bone regeneration and is currently one of the few dentists to hold three University Accredited Postgraduate Qualifications in this field, including a Master's degree. He was amongst the first few dentists in the United Kingdom to implement digital technology into his implant planning in order to provide predictable outcomes with maximum patient comfort.
Ritesh also has an interest in the management of Temporomandibular Joint (jaw joint) disorders, and is one of the few dentists in Leicestershire to be able to provide appropriate splint therapy.
Furthermore Ritesh offers a range of cosmetic orthodontic solutions including Invisalign and Inman Aligner.
Ritesh is committed to continual improvement and education so that he can bring a range of treatments to his patients that allow them to enjoy optimal dental health for the long term.
Ritesh is also an avid sportsman having represented England at various levels in badminton. He continues to play badminton at a competitive level and enjoys keeping fit as well as spending time with his family.
Devanshee qualified as a dentist with honours in 2008 from Manchester University, UK and has continued to improve and gain more knowledge and skills.
Following a year in general dental practice in London , she spent six months working in Australia. On returning to the UK she attained a diploma and thus gained membership with the Royal College of Surgeons in England. She also completed a one year certified course in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in London.
Devanshee has a particular interest in root canal treatment and has completed a two year diploma on the subject at the University of Chester, graduating with merit.
Furthermore, Devanshee is certified to offer consultations for medical aesthetic treatments to include softening of frown lines, skin care and facial sculpting.
Outside of work, Devanshee is kept busy looking after her three children.
Vikesh qualified as a dentist from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2008. Following a year in general dental practice, he spent a year working in Australia. On his return he worked as Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgey and Orthodontics at various hospitals in Norfolk. He then went on to work as a Senior House Officer in various departments at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this period he attained membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in Edinburgh. He continued his postgraduate education at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in London, where he gained a MSc with distinction in Root Canal Treatment. Vikesh joins our team to help with the treatment of the more complex root canal cases, meaning that we don’t need to refer patients out of the practice to see a specialist as they can receive that care here.
Vikesh spends part of the rest of his working week teaching other dentists and dental students at Birmingham Dental Hospital and works at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London.
Like his brother he has always been a keen player of Badminton, having represented England at junior level. Vikesh also plays cricket, with him having represented and captained Leicestershire at various age groups at junior level.
Neena graduated from Guys, Kings and St. Thomas’ School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2002 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She completed her Vocational training year in South London and stayed on for the following four years during which time she gained Membership with the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2007. Shortly after she moved to Leicester and she has been practicing locally ever since. She has continued her professional development in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry in London with Dr Chris Orr.
Neena prides herself in having a gentle and friendly approach with patients, providing treatment in a confident and reassuring manner.
She is due to start further training towards achieving a PG Diploma in Orthodontics later in the year and hopes to expand her knowledge base and skill set with the aim of providing both conventional fixed braces and cosmetic removable braces for her patients.
In her spare time Neena enjoys spending time with her young family, singing with a Leicester based choir, gardening and interior home design.
Tanya qualified from the University of Leeds in 2020. He completed his training year and practiced in London before moving to Leicester. During this time, he served in general practice as well as the Community Dental Service, looking after anxious children and patients with additional needs.
His interests lie in minimally invasive adhesive dentistry, composite bonding and Invisalign treatment to manage misaligned teeth.
Tanya is dedicated to continued professional development and regularly attends courses throughout the UK to provide the best quality treatment to his patients.
Outside of work Tanya is kept busy on weekends by being an avid Formula 1 fan. In his spare time, he also practises martial arts and meditation.
Vaishali is Specialist in Prosthodontics. She qualified with distinction in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and King's College London, following four years of specialist training at Guys Dental Hospital. Throughout her training she maintained her clinical skills by working part time in general practice. Vaishali relocated to the Midlands and is currently working in general and specialist practices. Alongside her clinical work she has developed a keen interest in teaching dentists locally. Prior to specialist training Vaishali graduated with Honours from the Royal London in 2011. She then gained a varied experience working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Southend & Broomfield Hospitals followed by working as a General Dental practitioner in NHS, Mixed and Private practice settings.
Vaishali’s approach to dentistry is holistic care. Focusing on education and disease prevention to ensure a healthy oral environment that can be maintained throughout life. She has a cheery chairside manner and a gentle hand. She tries to ensure patients feel relaxed and in control during treatment. She enjoys providing varied clinical work including, planning and restoring dental implants, non-surgical replacement of missing teeth- dentures, adhesive bridges, conventional bridges and in particular treatment of tooth wear alongside cosmetic treatment including minimally invasive composite bonding.
Outside of work she enjoys keeping fit. She loves outdoor adventures, travelling, painting and of course food! However, these activities have been put on a back burner as she spends most of her time running around after her two young children.
Sarah qualified as a registered dental nurse in 2010 in the UK, and has since undertaken further qualifications in orthodontic nursing, impression taking and intra oral scanning.
Sarah is extremely passionate about her job and enjoys making patients feel welcome and relaxed.
Sarah particularly enjoys orthodontic and root canal treatment.
Outside of working Sarah is busy looking after her two young children and spending time with her family.
Pavleen qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist from Teesside University, UK, in June 2022. Since graduating, Pavleen has worked in a fast-paced NHS practice for a year and has recently joined our team here at RD dental. Pavleen helps patients maintain their oral health by preventing and treating periodontal disease while educating and motivating patients to care for their teeth and gums.
She is dedicated to listening to patients concerns and prides herself on being an empathetic and friendly clinician to gain positive results with her patients.
Pavleen spends the rest of her week working around Leicestershire, utilizing her therapy qualification by providing dental examinations for children and carrying out restorative treatments. Pavleen has an avid interest in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry – which is a skill she is developing further.
Outside of work, Pavleen enjoys beauty therapy and is looking to expand into facial aesthetics. She also likes to spend time with her family and loves to bake.
Beatrix qualified as a dental nurse in 2011 in the UK and works at RD Dental on a part-time basis, with her spending the rest of the week looking after her young family.
Beatrix enjoys making patients feel welcome and relaxed by adopting an open and friendly approach and communicating with patients at every stage of their journey at our practice. The most rewarding aspect of dentistry to Beatrix is seeing patients leave the practice feeling positive, satisfied and valued with a smile on their face.
Hannah qualified as a registered dental nurse in 2018 in the UK.
Hannah particularly enjoys root canal and surgical treatments. Also making sure that patients feel confident and at ease when coming to RD Dental.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys being around her friends and family as well as going on long walks with her dog Rafa.
Gemma qualified as a registered dental nurse in 2007 in the UK.
Gemma enjoys meeting new patients and supporting them on their dental journey.
Gemma thoroughly enjoys surgical and cosmetic dental treatments.
When not working, Gemma likes spending time with her two daughters, family and looking after her horse, Sparkles.
Hannah qualified as a dental nurse in 2021.
Having started her dental nursing career with us at RD Dental, Hannah took a short break to expand her knowledge within the industry whilst working in London. Hannah is now back and ready to apply her new knowledge here at RD Dental.
In Hannah’s spare time she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
Sharan qualified as a dental nurse in 2022.
Sharan has 5 years experience as a dental nurse and has recently joined our team at RD Dental & Aesthetics in June’24.
Sharan particularly enjoys cosmetic dental treatments such as composite bonding and Invisalign.
Outside of work, Sharan enjoys travelling to new places and learning all about different cultures.
Sophie joined RD Dental & Aesthetics as an apprentice dental nurse in December’23.
Sophie has a passionate interest in the dental and medical industry and enjoys getting to know the patients and helping them be as comfortable as possible through their welcoming manor.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys creating art, going on scenic walks and finding new music artists to recommend to her colleagues and friends.
Annabelle joined the practice in December’23 as our full-time receptionist.
Annabelle enjoys learning about the different dental and aesthetic treatments we offer to best inform our new and existing patients of available options. She enjoys greeting and getting to know all our patients whilst they are waiting to go in for treatment and creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.
When not at work, Annabelle enjoys spending her free time exploring nature and being creative with baking, painting, or sewing. Alongside this, she enjoys creating quality memories with her husband and being a ‘cat mum’ to her three cats.
